송권화 교수 연구실의 박사과정생 박준호 학생이 2023년 12월 7-8일 개최된 ‘제15회 대한환경위해성·보건과학회 국제학술대회 ‘우수 신진연구자상’을 수상하였다.
박준호 학생이 발표한 ‘Beta-cyfluthrin impairs implantation by causing defects in mitochondrial function and producing ROS in porcine trophectoderm and luminal epithelial cells’는 돼지 영양외배엽 세포와 자궁내막 세포를 이용하여 피레스로이드계 살충제인 beta-cyfluthrin이 임신초기 단계에 미치는 독성 기전을 연구한 결과로써, 배아발달 및 착상 과정에 대한 beta-cyfluthrin의 위험성을 시사하였다.
또한 같은 연구실내 이호준 석박통합과정생이 ‘우수 논문 발표상’ 수상하였다.
이호준 학생이 발표한 ‘Mevinphos promotes inflammation, apoptosis, and alterations of MAPK and Akt signaling pathways leading to developmental toxicity in zebrafish’는 zebrafish 모델을 활용하여 살충제인 Mevinphos의 발달독성효과를 밝혀낸 결과로써, mevinphos가 신경계, 심혈관계, 및 간과 췌장 발달 등 개체의 발달 저해를 유도하는 독성 기전을 규명하여 해당 살충제의 노출에 대한 환경 위해성을 확인하였다.
